About

Style is in the details.

Wornwell started because I couldn't find a single publication that talked about eyewear the way I think about it — as the most important accessory you own. Not as a medical device. Not as a seasonal impulse buy. As something that fundamentally changes how your face is read by the world.

I'm a creative director in Los Angeles. I've spent the better part of a decade obsessing over how small choices — a frame shape, a lens tint, the weight of an acetate — make someone look more like themselves. Or less. That difference fascinates me.

This isn't a review site. I'm not here to rank the ten best sunglasses under fifty dollars. Wornwell is a style journal. It's where I write about the intersection of personal style and the things we put on our faces. Sometimes that's a trend report. Sometimes it's a guide. Sometimes it's just me explaining why I've been wearing the same pair of frames for three months straight.

The voice here is mine — opinionated, occasionally wrong, always curious. If you care about how things look and why they work, you'll probably like it here.
